Sunday August 5th: Head down to Keene NH for Sayon’s monthly afternoon drumming class.
Monday August 6th: You’ll have the opportunity to try drumming yourself at Sayon’s class in Woodstock.
Tuesday August 7th: We will begin teaching traditional dance from Sayon’s village for a 3 week session. Back by popular demand!
Thursday August 9th: be sure to attend the Traditional Music drum class in White River Junction!
Friday August 10th: Kick back a bit and relax at Okemo’s Jackson Gore Friday Night Music Series. Sayon will perform with talented pianist and musician Jamie Ward from 6-8pm, followed by an 8pm special appearance by Sayon and Landaya ensemble.
Saturday August 11th: Get one last round of drumming in for the week at 1pm in downtown Woodstock. Sayon will be teaching a class at the Artistree tent at Taste of Woodstock.
It’s the perfect time for a week of immersion in Guinean culture! The temperature is just right.
