We had a wonderful African Culture Class: Music, Drumming, Song and Dance of the Malinke of Guinea, focusing on the piece of music, Wadaba. Just like an African village! Thank you to all participants who tried a lot of new things and had fun doing it.

Sayon and Landaya return to Autumn Moondance Festival by popular demand! Center of the festival on Main Street in Windsor VT! This Friday October 10th from 6:30 – 8:30 pm. Time to dance!
That’s right! We’ll be playing at the Multicultural Festival right in the heart of the capitol. 4pm. See you there. Let’s dance!

Don’t miss this day of West African drumming in Wolfeboro on of all days, St. Patricks Day, this Sunday March 17! An afternoon workshop from 12:30 – 4:00 pm taught by Sayon Camara with members of Landaya Ensemble on dununs will be sure to turn up the heat. Followed by a 5:00 pm 100% benefit concert with Sayon & Landaya playing full out to support work for American families without homes and the education of village children in Guinea.
