I just had a wonderful evening playing djembe at the Prince and The Pauper Restaurant in Woodstock, Vermont to support Jean de Dieu Tshileu’s Congo Village Project where he will build a school one classroom at a time in his home village of Tshileo in the Democratic Republic of Congo. If you would like to help build the school just let us know!

There is no other like Sayon Camara! A djembefola as straight and true as the clear sounds he produces on the djembe drum, his teaching and performances will give you the music of his people, directly from the heart of Guinea, West Africa, leaving you with the richness of his traditional culture, inner joy and a sense of well being.
